Our Alterations Process

We believe every gown should feel as beautiful as it looks. Our alterations process is designed to be collaborative, personalized, and tailored specifically to you and your gown.

First Appointment: Alterations Consultation

Your first alterations appointment is a consultation. During this visit, you will meet one-on-one with our experienced seamstress to discuss your gown and what you’re envisioning. This is your opportunity to share how you want your dress to fit, feel, and look—whether that includes fit adjustments, customizations, or design changes. Together, you and our seamstress will collaborate on what is possible for your gown, and after this consultation, a price range will be provided.


Pricing Information

Alterations pricing varies from gown to gown, and because every dress is unique, we are unable to provide an estimated price before your consultation. Pricing depends on several factors, including the type of alterations or customizations requested, the fabric, the amount of detailing such as lace or beading, and the overall complexity of the work.


Follow-Up Appointments

After your consultation, future fittings will be scheduled as needed and directed by our seamstress. Appointments are typically booked every few weeks, depending on the scope of work and your wedding timeline.


Scheduling & Availability

Please plan for weekday appointments, as our seamstress does not usually work weekends. Weekend appointments are very rare, though limited Sunday morning appointments may occasionally be available.
