I just got engaged, how soon should I start looking for my dress?
The sooner the better! Our designers' delivery times can be vary between 3-7 months. Alterations also take time so it’s important to take that into consideration. The gowns are made to order for most brides so productions of the gown will start once the payment is made.
I’m getting married right away. Will I be able to get a gown from your shop?
Absolutely. We always have a stock of “off-the-rack options” for the bride who doesn’t have months to wait for her gown. All of-the-rack options are available at a discounted price being a great option for a bride on a budget.
Do I need to book an appointment or can I just walk in?
We highly recommend every bride to schedule an appointment. Appointment times are an hour and a half where you and a consultant will be able to try on our selection of gowns. We do welcome walk-ins but will accommodate any appointment that has been scheduled when they arrive.
How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
We recommend keeping the entourage to under 4 people. We love our brides friends & family however having a smaller group helps keep focus on the bride. Our spaces are limited and want to ensure everyone has a comfortable intimate experience here at Colby Bridal.
What undergarments should I wear?
We recommend wearing nude undergarments, a strapless bra and bringing along any shape-wear or shoes you are wanting to wear that special day.
